Chattering Away

Welcome to "Chattering Away"!

You are a "chattering teeth" toy. You come alive and hit the road. A humble effort for a GameBoy DMG-01 feel platform showcase game, still in progress.

CONTROLS

An odd choice of controls, I know, but I have some backups. Try holding the keyboard left and right and only using your thumbs: one at WASD and one at the numeric side! -My belief on this is that the left hand is the movement and the right the buttons, like for the handheld.-

D-PAD (Movement)

• 'A' or '←' and 'D' or '→' to WALK left or right
• 'W' or '↑' to JUMP
• 'S' or '↓' to ENTER (Hint: Level 2 "Holes")

BUTTONS (A, B, SELECT, START)

• 'Numeric -' or 'P' or 'Backspace' for Button [A] to BITE (Effectively does nothing at the moment ;-D)
• 'Numeric +' or 'L' or 'Return/Enter' for Button [B] to SPIT (Attack with mouthwash)
• 'Numeric /' or 'N' or 'normal -' for [SELECT] Button (Pause/Resume and bring up or close the emulated settings screen -see 1st screenshot-)
• 'Numeric *' or 'M' or 'normal =' for [START] Button (when required to continue)

GAMEPLAY

• Use the SPIT attack to destroy the bacteria -see 3rd screenshot-
• Get mouthwash bottles to replenish your spit ammo -see 4st screenshot-
• Bacteria will get you! Get toothpaste and toothbrushes to replenish your teeth health -see 5th screenshot-

NOTES

• Missing features
  • Only levels 1 and 2 are playable for the time being
  • Scoring will be added at a later time
  • Scene transitioning will be implemented at some point
• First time on sequencer, I know, "interesting" tunes
  • Used the GoldBox 2.5
